My Project

Our school has existed since 1972, but we do not have the instruments that we need to have a successful band program.

This project seeks to buy one used Yamaha flugelhorn for our school.

Currently, we own two flugelhorns and I've had to borrow two from other schools in the community as needed. It is time that our school purchased its own instruments for the jazz band. The flugelhorn is kind of like a trumpet but is conical in shape and it has a really mellow sound. It is used as a solo and section instrument in the jazz band and band as needed.
