This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach full-day kindergarten in a Title 1 school. My class is full of bright, kindhearted children of ages 5-6. These students strive to learn and grow every day and are making huge learning growth in reading 3 letter words. We set high goals and expectations and I could not be prouder of these wonderful children for stepping up and meeting the learning challenge. Students are encouraged to not only achieve their best academic growth but their best personal growth. We strive to learn kindness, empathy, and accountability in our daily learning. These children are a real joy to see walk into my classroom every day.

My Project

I am a new teacher that needs supplies in the classroom for his students.

The drawers will be labeled with tape with each student's name on them to give students a personal place to store items and turn in papers.

Headphones are needed for these students' tablets to allow students to have a quiet learning environment. The paper holder will allow the teacher to organize worksheets each day.

With these new materials, the students will be able to work more quietly and efficiently. We appreciate your help in creating a brand new classroom learning environment.
