My Project

This is my second year teaching and my first year teaching sixth grade in Hawaii. I absolutely love teaching in Hawaii. My school is rich in Hawaiian culture and integrates the ALOHA values into student learning. I feel so lucky to teach some of the brightest young minds in the world. My biggest struggle as a new teacher is not having a bank of resources built up that seasoned teachers have and can pull from throughout the year. I have spent well over $200 this year purchasing lessons and fun activities off the website, Teachers Pay Teachers. I am requesting five TPT gift cards to help me continue building engaging lessons in the subjects, of math, science, health, and social studies. My students enjoy learning in differentiated ways. I know the rest of this year will be just as great as the first semester.
