My Project

Hello! My name is Chloe Lavigne, and I will be a new teacher starting in the 2024-2025 school year. I am building my classroom from scratch - so I need your help to make it the best it can be for my future students!

I am asking for flexible seating, and organizational materials (like pocket charts and caddies) to help support my students autonomy and self-regulation within the classroom.

Students can use the wobble stool or the floor chair to help them focus during independent work time, which is especially helpful for neuro-divergent students.

I plan to use the pocket charts to show student jobs, promoting leadership skills and creating a classroom community that supports one another. I will use the other pocket charts for literacy and social studies lessons, providing students with access to important vocabulary that will reinforce their learning as we continue throughout the school year.
