New Teacher at a New School

My Project

I am a new teacher and have my first classroom to decorate and fill with materials that will help my students thrive and be as successful as possible.

Our classroom's theme is outer space, with our goal to "reach for the stars"!

I want my students to truly believe that they can achieve anything if they put in the effort and know that they are capable. My students are each special in their own way, and I want them all to shine this year.

My main goal with this project is to get supplies like paints, crayons, markers, and glue sticks, so my students have the chance to be creative and expand their minds in the classroom. I have also added a rug for our classroom library so the students have a comfortable place to read. The book bins are for our classroom library, so the students can have access to grade-level texts. The wagon will be used for the students’ lunch boxes, as well as for field trips planned throughout the year.
