My Project
At Our High School, we have the most diverse group of students in the state of California! Our students speak over 30 languages, practice a variety of faiths, and have roots all over the world. In AP Psychology, my goal is to inspire students to become advocates for their own mental health. I try to do this by conducting collaborative lessons that require students to interact with their peers. Unfortunately, my classroom was torn down and my new room only contains individual student desks.
Professions that support mental health need linguistically, religiously, and culturally diverse professionals and our students fit this description!
Many alumni have gone on to become therapists, neuroscientists, social workers, and teachers. Please help us out of our individual desk rows so that we can work together to better understand human behavior.
