Technology today and COVID-19 have impacted learning tremendously. Four years into the Pandemic students are still adapting to change by learning in a different environment while thinking about what goes on outside of school. I want to incorporate more flexible seating like a saucer chair in my classroom to help students focus on learning in an environment that is comfortable for them. Math manipulatives for hands-on learning, like dice, fraction cups, and multiplication grids, help students see concepts and bridge the gap that has been lost. This helps make learning fun and will make a huge difference in my student's learning. Supplies like 3-ring binders, mechanical pencils, earbuds, and scissors will help me give them the needed materials to succeed and engage in their assignments. It will also provide the supplies to students whose parents otherwise wouldn't be able to get them. I know how much it impacts them positively in terms of their learning. They excel so much more when they learn in an environment that is suitable for them.
