My students need some new classroom supplies. The stapler has broke, and the hole punch has joined it. Plus, we always need new pencils and scissors!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are honors level and AP level students who are working hard, some very hard with jobs and more, to make better lives for themselves and get into a good college. They are hardworking, compassionate, and determined.
Many come from a disadvantaged background, with a 65% economic disadvantage; there are students who will be the first in their family to go to college.
They know this, and every day to them is a day to improve their lives and the lives of those they love.
My Project
We are in need of a few new supplies to replace some of the broken ones. Our stapler has recently joined the hole punch, both of which the students use all the time. We are also in need of an electric pencil sharpener as the nose manual pencil sharpener keeps walking off.
We are asking for a new stapler, hole punch, pencils, an electric pencil sharpener and some scissors.
These supplies will increase productivity as students can quickly sharpen their pencil, and we can have some extra pencils when needed as well. Students will also be able to easily access the hole punch and it can punch several pages at a time, and will have access to a working stapler and scissors.
More than half of students from low‑income households
