New Supplies for Phenomenal Scholars

My students need a new area rug and bean bag chair to make their new classroom library comfy and cozy! They are also in need of reading and math materials.

My Students

My students are hardworking, intelligent youngsters that come to class each day eager to learn. Our school provides opportunities for children to discover, achieve, and prepare for success in college, incorporating an arts-infused philosophy. As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. In most cases, students are unable to provide the necessary supplies needed for the school year. They are in dire need of resources that will allow them to stay organized and keep them motivated which will allow them to showcase their incredible capabilities artistically and academically. These children are very creative and love to showcase their hard work and effort. With your help, my students will be able to reach their goals without having to worry about having adequate supplies.

My Project

As a special education teacher, I understand the importance of providing my students with a comfortable, safe and inviting learning environment. New bean bag chairs and carpet will provide my students with the comfort and security they need to unwind and regroup before and after lessons. Our classroom is in dire need of supplemental resources. ELA and Math workbooks will help those students that may need additional academic support. Basic supplies such as pencils, erasers, and folders are a definite MUST! My scholars need to be prepared for class daily. Having these supplies available keeps students stress free and focused on their work.
