This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As our current year draws to a close, we are taking stock of what supplies we have that will last us through the next year and what supplies we need to replace. This year, our school budget was slashed due to a drop in enrollment, which has resulted in us having limited money to purchase school supplies.

As a result of this budget cut, we need to use other funds to purchase basic supplies.

For example, we need new headphones to support learning on tech, and whiteboards for students to do independent work. We also want students to begin revising and editing their writing work with editing pens, which we are hoping to purchase with these Donors Choose funds.

Our children deserve supplies that work and function to support their learning!
