it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Some of our classroom stools are wobbly, which is becoming a distraction for students in class, on top of being uncomfortable to sit in.
I am looking to replace the stools in our classroom with all new ones, so that my students can be comfortable when they create artwork.
With large class sizes, stools work best for my students, and unfortunately as our stools are becoming damaged, they are being replaced by large, bulky chairs which make spacing tight and uncomfortable for my students. There is a correlation between my student's comfort in my classroom and their levels of engagement. I want to give my students a classroom environment where they feel comfortable, safe and welcomed where they can express themselves creatively.
