it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My choices for STEM kits align with the state of Missouri's second-grade science standards. My students will develop a deeper understanding of how machines work while building the mental muscles needed for STEM careers. These STEM kits develop fine motor skills, visual-spatial skills, reasoning, and concept skills. They will also use STEM-building toys to build essential critical thinking and problem-solving skills. There is a great introduction to gears, gear ratios, transmissions, power, and torque for our young learners. I hope to inspire future engineers, scientists, and inventors by exploring effort, force, load, motion, and distance with these STEM kits.
