This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are the bright and enthusiastic Exceptional Children, grades K-5, who deserve equal access to education and opportunity. Our class consists of 6 wonderful students who are ready and eager to strive toward outstanding work this school year.

We hope to create a comfortable and inviting classroom to foster individualized learning and commitment to excellence.

Our class is unique. We learn in different ways, but we are all working to achieve our goals and succeed in the classroom and beyond. We have big dreams for the future and we are committed to being responsible, hard-working, outstanding learners and leaders.

My Project

These materials will go towards a brand new room for Exceptional children in our elementary school. The students will benefit from the alternative seating options, fidgets to increase focus, and basic supplies to ensure active learning.

The materials in this project will greatly help to create a comfortable and inviting learning environment for students who deserve an equitable education with the accommodations and consistency to fit their needs.

Not all students learn in the same way, but all students can succeed. Our mission is to give the students the opportunity to achieve their academic goals, exceed expectations, and receive the equitable education they deserve.
