This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Majority of our Ballet Folklorico students come from households at or below the national poverty level. They have relied on the generosity of local kind people to purchase some things they need for performances and for practice each day since the district can only afford to pay for the essential things for them (such as traditional outfits or shoes).

Our students do not have a speaker of their own and rely on an old QFX PBX-61081 small speaker that doesn’t always play as loud as we would need it to.

This is especially crucial for us since our current speaker is not always loud enough for dance/routines performed outside our dance classroom.

This speaker will help out during class rehearsals whenever the team splits up into two groups for competitions, different routine practices, as well as community events throughout the year.
