My Project

At our school, the art room is a favorite place for many student artists. They love to draw and build, but most of all, they love to paint. A lot! Our drying rack however, is feeling tired and difficult to work with.

Our current drying rack situation is not ideal; it is wide but shallow making it hard to store paintings properly, and the paintings are not easily accessible to students.

This makes it difficult for students to keep track of their work. It would be a game changer to obtain a more accessible drying rack situation.

Giving students a drying rack that they can see and access would give them more autonomy on the way their artwork is stored, and help to create less confusion when it comes time to finding the art that we put so much love into. I want to foster their love of painting without putting a limit on how much they can create.
