This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will help us take a big step forward in providing some valuable solo repertoire for each and every section of the wind instruments in our program. Each year for our concerts and for in-class projects, students work on solos of their choosing and we often don't have enough school provided resources for them. Lots of work is done to find online pieces but our physical music library at the school site is in need of many additions for each and every instrument type. This DonorsChoose project is the first step to get us there!
