My Students

We are a classroom filled with outstanding thinkers, all with diverse learning styles and needs. We are located just outside of a large city in Pennsylvania in a renowned school district in a K-4 elementary building. The students come from all different backgrounds and we join together to create one beautiful classroom of learners. The students are readers, writers, mathematicians, scientists, and historians all in one school day. They work extremely hard and push themselves in all areas, each and every day.

My Project

Our classroom is in desperate need of a new, updated rug. The bright colors and letters will add to the cheerful environment and make our room more appealing. This rug will also give the students a designated space of their own on the carpet, which will ensure engagement during whole group lessons. We also have a variety of flexible seats in our class, such as exercise balls, pillows, and various types of cushions. These new seats will give the students another comfortable option to use if they are working on the floor around the room and will allow them to sit up with a back rest.
