Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This will be my first year teaching, I will be teaching 7th & 8th grade Special Ed students. I am hoping to get these materials to make their learning environment more engaging and less stress-free. I plan on making their learning experience fun and enjoyable for them. The classroom materials I am seeking to make the learning environment for my special education students will create more engaging and stress-free will play a crucial role in supporting their educational journey. These organizational and sensory materials have the potential to cater to their unique needs, making learning more accessible and enjoyable for them.
By providing multi-sensory materials such as manipulatives and tactile objects, I can offer hands-on experiences that allow students to interact with abstract concepts in a concrete way.
These TPT materials can help them develop a deeper understanding of subject matter, improve their problem-solving skills, and enhance their overall engagement in the learning process. Visual supports, including charts, posters, and graphic organizers, can assist students in organizing their thoughts, reinforcing concepts, and understanding expectations. These visual aids provide structure and clarity, reducing anxiety and promoting independence. They also support students with different learning styles, allowing them to grasp information more effectively.
