My Project

I adore my curious, compassionate first-grade Eagles who light up every time we dive into a new project. Their boundless imagination and eagerness to explore mean that markers, construction paper, and oil pastels become more than art supplies—they’re tools for self-expression. The multicultural crayon set ensures every child can see themselves in their artwork, while glitter glue and masking tape help build fine-motor skills and confidence. Sensory tools like the Emotions Coin Drop and fidget tubes give gentle ways to pause, reflect, and manage big feelings so all learners can rejoin the group ready to learn.

With these materials, my goal is to foster a classroom where creativity, emotional growth, and academic skills flourish together.

Crayola markers and bulk crayons will power our daily writing and drawing journals, strengthening pencil grip and letter formation. Watercolors, acrylic paint markers, and brush sets will support our science and social-studies illustrations, helping students translate observations into vivid representations. Play-dough tools and jump ropes will build core strength and coordination during brain-breaks, while LEGO Rainbow Bricks challenge them to think spatially and solve problems collaboratively.

What makes my students truly special is the way they care for one another: they celebrate each other’s successes, offer to help classmates who struggle, and share ideas generously. By giving them high-quality art and sensory tools, we’ll nurture their innate kindness alongside their creativity and motor skills. Together, we’ll create a classroom community where every Eagle feels valued, capable, and excited to soar to new heights.
