Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A new start to the school year in September means extra supplies is needed, some new and some of the usual essentials!
Math graph (easel) paper and mini graph paper sheets will be helpful for the students who struggle to keep their numbers organized as they add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
The smaller sheets can stick right into their notebooks. It will also assist in creating posters to hang up in the room of Math tips and tricks for solving problems. The markers can be used for all subjects when writing on poster paper or designing something in Science or STEAM. The battery tester will also be used during the Energy unit in Science because we constantly use batteries when building circuits, so this will be handy to have instead of using old used batteries that don't work anymore.
The drawer set will help organize materials around the classroom. The duct tape is used to keep track of my classroom pencils. When the students borrow one with zebra tape on it, they know where to return it to! This saves a lot of lost pencils throughout the year!
Lastly, the strong magnetic hooks will help the students and I hang up supplies or computer chargers on magnetic spaces throughout the room. Thanks for your support of our 4th grade classroom! :)
