This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In any kindergarten classroom, there are going to be messes and accidents. This school year, we had a ton of both - on our classroom carpet... That is why I am hoping to get a new classroom rug for the new school year that matches our classroom theme- growth!

The class rug in an early childhood environment is an integral part of the classroom - it is for sharing ideas, learning spatial awareness, and feeling warm and welcome.

This beautiful tree rug features blue and green hues that, according to color theory, can have calming effects on people. It is my hope that with this rug, my new group of students will feel welcomed and calm in their new kindergarten classroom.
