This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am so excited to be teaching 6th grade this year! I have taught 5th and 4th in past years, but I am excited for this change. With this change comes a new classroom with a different set up and a need for new supplies.

I have learned that students are more likely to feel successful when they can feel organized.

This can be tricky with our class set up. Our students share table space and do not have their own space to store things at their seating area. We also do a lot of group work. I would like to create a well organized space for them to keep personal supplies as well as group supplies.
