This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our classroom, we work hard to create an engaging, supportive, and welcoming learning environment where every student feels like they belong. By supporting this project, you are investing in a classroom community where every child is seen, supported, and encouraged to succeed.

Headphones will help students stay focused during independent work, reading programs, and assessments by minimizing distractions.

Pencil sharpeners for each student ensure that students are always ready to write, eliminating downtime and frustration. A new bookshelf will provide an organized space for our classroom library so that students have easy access to books and can grow a love for reading.

The silver Sharpies will help us keep materials organized so that each student can take ownership of their supplies. The Carpet Spots will give students designated seating areas, creating structure during group lessons and fostering a calm, focused classroom. A photo printer will allow us to display pictures of our class family, promoting friendships, teamwork, and a sense of belonging.

These items may seem small, but together they will help create an environment where students can learn, grow, and feel valued.
