My Project

The school supplies that I am requesting for my students will allow us to start off the school year prepared to learn new and exciting concepts in literacy and math. The basic materials and supplies I have selected already have a purpose. Copy paper and card stock will be used to create decodable books for independent work centers and take-home bags. Index cards will be used to make flash cards for math and reading. Post It Notes will be used during reading to make connections. All of the supplies will be available for students to use during Problems Based Learning. We just need your help in getting all the necessary supplies to make this school year the best.

By donating to our project, you will be providing supplies for reading and math concepts that will be individually created for each student based on their academic learning needs.

Students will be able to simply focus on literacy and math concepts, and not worry about if there will be enough supplies for everyone. As the teacher, consumable supplies will allow me to make differentiated hands-on materials to use in the classroom and send home as practice. I can’t wait to see how these supplies help increase my students reading and math skills. The much needed supplies will also be used for Problem Based Learning where students set out to answer essential questions that they would like to solve.
