Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I'm excited to start a new adventure this year teaching a group of 2nd and 3rd graders together. The students are so friendly, and some said they hope they are in my class next year, even though we only just met. This school focuses on science and technology, and I can't wait to guide them through a year of curiosity and building a classroom community that supports each other inside and outside of the classroom. This is a new school, new grade level and a new way they supply classrooms with materials.
These materials make a difference in their learning because it ensures that all students have the school supplies, they need in order to be successful in the classroom.
It also lessens the burden on families to get supplies for their child. Students will walk into a classroom with organized materials that are for them to use all year long!
I hope to use the markers for art projects, the post it pads to hang anchor charts, so students remember our learning and the digital card to purchase a social studies unit for my class
