Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help us create a comfortable, safe space for students to meet with us individually and in small groups. Our elementary school counseling team has moved to the new third floor of our elementary school building and we would benefit from some resources to help our space be welcoming.
We are in need of storage and other items to help make our new school counseling space feel comfortable, well organized and peaceful.
We would like to be able to have storage to organize and have easy access to highly used resources such as social emotional learning books, games, and frequently used sensory items. The storage unit and shelves will help create a space that feels neat and organized. We also want to include items that help support a sense of peace and comfort like a canopy for calming space and small bulletin boards to post helpful visuals for our calming space and room.
