This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am asking for a new rug. I will be moving into a new classroom that is a lot bigger. We will have a lot more room to spread out and need a bigger rug for the space. Also, our school seems to be growing and I need space for more students.

My students need their own space on a new rug for our different learning times.

We spend a lot of time on the rug for whole group, reading centers, math centers, and when needed indoor recess. This rug will give us the space we need to spread out.

Our school is growing and I need to make sure I have room for all of my students which is not the current situation.
