My Project

As this school year is underway, my students are working so hard to make up for time they lost during COVID-19. I am seeing that a lot of my students are struggling with reading and reading comprehension. I am working hard to find them a variety of reading passages and comprehension activities to building their reading skills which also will help to build their self-confidence and esteem.

I am requesting a gift card from Teachers Pay Teachers which will allow me to find a variety of resources at different levels to help tailor the students' education to their needs.

Reading involves lifelong skills that they will take with them past their high school career. Having a positive attitude about reading and literacy will also help build their personal esteem, as when they find themselves seeing how much they are improving will help to motivate them to keep reading and learning. Thank you for considering to support my students through this project.
