My students need new reeds. Most students in my program cannot afford having to buy new reeds constantly, so I provide them free of charge.

My Students
Students are in band and orchestra classes. They belong to a low-income area is Salt Lake City, Utah. My students face many hardships at home with lots of single parents, and heavy numbers having to relocate schools often throughout the year. Over 75% of the school is on free lunch.
My students are very motivated in their learning and love for music.
These students enjoy creating music in their classes and are very excited for the opportunity to have better tools and equipment at their disposal!
My Project
I have chosen a good standard brand of reeds for my students. I will provide these to my students who struggle with coming up with the financials to get new reeds for themselves. These reeds will be given to students on an as-needed basis.
Most students struggle financially and cannot afford to buy reeds over and over.
By providing new, quality reeds to my students in need, they can continue playing with confidence. I am eliminating the fear of not being able to play their instrument because they have a broken reed and can't afford to buy a new one.
