My Students

My students live in lower socioeconomic neighborhoods that require support and resources for learning. One of the biggest challenges my families face is the ability to provide extra resources and opportunities for their children.

My students come in each day ready to learn!

My Project

Each day, my students have a block of reading time. As a new classroom, our bookshelf needs to be enhanced with more non-fiction books. The books that I selected will give my students a variety of new books. This will also help students determine what is factual and what is not.

My students enjoy reading new books that are added to the library!

Adding new books to our library will continue to keep my students interested in reading. I want my students to grow as readers and develop a love for reading.
