Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help me add a new manga series into our classroom library. In my classroom reading is a cherished activity for many. We have Reading Fridays in which my students are free to read any book from our library collection. This not only promotes student literacy through independent reading but their love of reading as well.
This gives them an opportunity to explore books that they enjoy.
My students enjoy the wide selection of choices we have whether it is the traditional novels, graphic novels, comics or mangas. Adding this new series will further enrich our classroom library and my students will be thrilled to have a new series accessible for them to read.
