Help me give my students new, relevant Psychology textbooks! Our current textbooks are very out of date. These new textbooks relate Psychology to modern practices, issues and the need to study psychology.
My students are amazing, young individuals who are eager to learn. This is a mixed grade level class, which includes students from grades 10,11 and 12. It includes students with mixed ability learning levels as well as English Language Learners in the same classroom.
My students are highly motivated and excited about learning and applying concepts to real-world issues.
With access to the essential resources, each of these students will be able to develop critical thinking skills through the Psychology curriculum.
My Project
These textbooks would be used to help my students have access to the Psychology curriculum. These textbooks are extremely student-friendly. They provide learning strategies and study skills to help the students comprehend the information, learning objectives in each section and module provides new vocabulary and definitions before each section, and review questions.
This textbook connects Psychology to the real world and teenagers can easily relate their own lives to the concepts addressed throughout the book.
It is filled with numerous charts, graphs, quotations, illustrations, and photographs for students to be able to understand the concepts and critically think.
