This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach a wonderful group of young humans. They come to art excited to create. In my classroom I try to provide new and exciting experiences for them to explore the wonderful world of art. We talk about all the different ways to use the elements and principles of art in numerous ways.
The best thing about art is all the different mediums there are to explore.
Many of our students have very limited supplies at home. I try to expose my students to as many different art mediums as possible. Giving them different creative processes and techniques to use when bringing their ideas to life.
This year I am tying to expand on the materials we have available to use in the art room. This will allow for techniques and projects to differ even more between grade levels. Allowing new memories and ideas to be made.
