This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students

"I'm a Champ!"
My students chant out loud every day to remind themselves that they are the champions in learning. The sparks for learning start in the hearts of these little children in kindergarten.
My students are bilingual learners in Korean English Dual Language program. More than half of them are ELD learners, and they need effective educational aids and supplies to support their learning and continue to grow as champions. Having access to new learning materials that meet their needs in second language acquisition will broaden their young minds and assist them in becoming the successful learners they hope to be when they shout out, "I'm a champ!"
My Project
With new hybrid learning in the classroom, my Kindergarten students are learning most of their lessons using Google slides projected on the screen and learning apps on their iPads.
Although, technology integration is an asset we gained from our remote learning experience during Covid, my young learners still need practice in writing and drawing on paper templates not only to build their hand coordination, but also to reinforce their learning.
With a new printer, students will receive printed copies to review new concepts and demonstrate their understanding of the grade level skills.
