My Project
Teaching physical education is always a challenge, especially in the space that I teach in. It's a cafeteria, and we are extremely limited in what activities we are permitted to do. I am requesting a new MacBook and iPad to help incorporate technology into my class lessons, especially since we are rated as part of the Danielson rubric. As physical education teachers, we do not receive classroom laptop/iPad carts to use, as we have 50 students in each class.
My department will use the macbook and ipad as different learning stations around the gym.
For example, we can have one learning station using the ipad to create videos of specific skills being taught such as a volleyball serve. Another station using the macbook could be a station where students are asked to create a short written piece into a google document responding to a writing prompt.
