New Novels for Almost Ninth Graders

Help me give my students some new novels to update our classroom library and help them to grow as readers.

My Project

As my students increase their reading abilities, I am in need of novels to help them stay hooked on reading. I have chosen engaging and enjoyable novels in which they see themselves and can relate to the characters. I have chosen books that they won't be able to put down (Invisible, Tales from the Bully Box, Operation Sisterhood, Holler of the Fireflies, etc.). My eighth graders are almost ninth graders, and I want to get them as ready for high school as I can.

Many of my students have shown significant growth in reading this year, and I know these new books will help this trend continue.

They are on the right track to being ready for next year, and nothing will stop them. Please support this project and help my kids to continue to grow as readers.
