This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are diverse in almost every way. Although several of them struggle with reading, they are very excited about reading a novel for the very first time. Students will be able to master several literacy standards through this novel study. We're asking for snacks because although we've only been in school for a week, many students, past and present are already asking for snacks. I teach 6th graders, and they are forever spilling something or drawing on tables, so we are in constant need paper towels and cleaning supplies.
