New Nonfiction for Outdated Library

Help me give my students some new nonfiction titles. These are popular subjects and many of them also correlate with our curriculum.

My Project

Our school library is woefully out of date. While I am asking for nearly $20,000 over the next 4 years from our budget, I know I'm not going to get that much.

Reading informational texts is vital for student success.

For young children, listening to, reading, writing, and illustrating informational texts is a great way to build knowledge and vocabulary in science, social studies, and the arts—and a great foundation for success in school and life. My students want to read these titles, but most that we have are 20 years old.

Please help me supplement what the school can afford to give the library. Some of these titles cost more than you might expect, but I am trying to only purchase hardcover and library bound books so that they will last longer.
