My students need new materials for our math stations. We need new Kindles for our classroom to help with our technology time.

My Students

I am a new first grade teacher to 19 students in a small rural East Texas town. This year will be difficult for my students and myself. I will be learning how to be a new teacher, and they will be learning to be first graders!

I want my students to come into a warm welcoming atmosphere where they have the ability to learn and grow.

Providing us with the supplies we need to make this a great year will help them become lifelong learners.

My Project

My fantastic group of first graders love to learn using technology and hands-on activities. My class needs to have new math manipulative tools to further their education.

The Kindle Fire tablets will help my students learn through technology.

First grade students love to learn through a variety of different ways, and the tablets will help give them another option to use during our technology rotations.

My treasure box in my classroom needs new prizes for my students to choose from. The students are rewarded for doing homework assignments and positive behavior in our room.

First grade students need to be challenged and have different options for learning. These tools for our math stations and the Kindles for our technology time will help to keep them engaged in learning in my classroom.
