My Project
As an educator, my goal is to create a classroom environment where every student feels supported academically, emotionally, and socially. To achieve this, I’m seeking your support to provide essential resources: social-emotional learning (SEL) tools, math manipulatives, and a laminator for our classroom.
Social-emotional tools such as Calm Strips and fidgets play a vital role in helping students recognize and manage their feelings.
These tools create a safe space where children can build self-awareness, practice empathy, and develop strong interpersonal skills—foundations that support both personal growth and academic success.
Math manipulatives like base-ten blocks, counters, and number lines help students visualize mathematical concepts and make abstract ideas more concrete. These hands-on resources cater to different learning styles and build confidence in problem-solving by allowing students to explore, experiment, and engage with math in a tactile and meaningful way.
A laminator might seem like a small item, but it has a lasting impact. Laminating reusable charts, games, and learning centers ensures that materials are durable and accessible for years to come. It allows me to create high-quality, interactive resources that support differentiated instruction and student independence.
