Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach students who are predominately English Language Learners. They need rich literature to help support their learning of new words as they learn to read. I've taught for many years in first grade but have been teaching as a specialist for several years. Therefore, my room needs a new library.

Books are essential to every classroom environment, especially in the younger grades as they learn to read.

Lakeshore Learning offers many books on varying levels. I have chosen books that I feel will be appropriate for my students. These books will be a good variety for my students.
