This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
While our school is being rebuilt, we are in a "swing space" for the next two years. We are so excited for our new building, but we have an empty space to turn into a welcoming learning environment in the mean time!
Our new classroom is giant but empty.
This is a great problem to have! We need your help to transform this space into a the classroom our students deserve. We are looking to get 2 new rugs so that our students can have ample space to learn throughout the day. We also want to add some new books to our collection to celebrate our different backgrounds, specifically for our students who have moved from Ethiopia and speak Amharic at home.
Our students are hardworking, compassionate, joyful learners who deserve a classroom that inspires them and makes them feel safe and included. Your generosity helps us a ton. Thank you for your support!
