My Students

Our children are unique, special, and eager to learn but come from backgrounds that are less fortunate to get safe and quality education if it wasn't for me, us and our program.

Our children and their families live below the poverty level.

They are presented with challenges everyday. Many of our children have severe needs that can't be met at home alone. We have children with developmental delays, speech delays, and some with disabilities or disorders beyond their control. Our neighborhood supports many of the children in our classroom. Our school wants to close the achievement gap. I want to help every child I teach in one way or another.

My Project

With the shopping carts, the students can learn to push and pull while adding items to the cart to make it heavier and lighter. They also will learn how to take turns and share.

Enlightening our children's learning.

With the light cube, the children will be able to explore lights, shadows, and colors. I feel with more new technology the children will engage more and learn more.

With the floor game, the children will get to learn shapes, colors, numbers, and counting. They will also learn how to work together.

Having new toys give children new ways to learn and explore.
