This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My dual language students will benefit from having these new rugs to help with identifying the Spanish alphabet throughout the day and learning time. The largest rug will go in the morning meeting area where they will be learning Spanish for most of the day. My students are happy and fun children who will enjoy learning.
Learning in Spanish will help keep my student's first language fresh while continuing to learn everything in Spanish
My first year teaching kindergarten will be an amazing experience. This project will help my students enjoy learning to identify and recognize the Spanish alphabet, and their sounds and know the difference between Spanish and English. My students will love their new puppets to play with during center time and in the library area to practice the Spanish language.
