My Students

My Kindergarten students are enthusiastic learners! They enjoy all the activities that I plan for them and always try their best.

Most are 2nd language learners.

Over 80% are on free or reduced price lunch. For many of my students, my classroom is their first experience with school. It is my job to engage them everyday and teach them everything they need to know to be successful students.

I love teaching Kindergarten because my students are sweet, inquizitive and want to learn.

My Project

Classroom environment is crucial to a child's learning! Currently, our classroom rug is old and dirty with books that are old and unorganized. Choosing a book to read is my of my student's favorite activities! With a brand new rug, students will enjoy sitting during quiet reading time and choose from organized, leveled books. With new books organized into beautiful bins, students will be able to read books that are both interesting and at their current instructional level.

Kindergarten students love learning to read and with a clean rug and organized classroom library will help them to become lifelong readers!
