Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The girls are really in need of new uniforms. It has been years since they have received any. As the years go by, with the tugging, constant washing, and the sweat, these old uniforms have seen better days. At the lower levels we don't even have ones that match. I want to show the girls that all of their hard work will pay off. The new jerseys, shorts, and practice jerseys will further build their confidence up on the court. This project is important to me because I want to give the kids confidence. Giving them the tools and resources to help them is my goal. In high school, girls are very sensitive, especially about the way they look. I enjoy helping all the athletic programs at our school but I especially enjoy basketball because I am the girls' head coach. Help me help them boost up their confidence on the court, and thanks for your time.
