Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school uses a program called Positive Behavior Intervention System (PBIS) to promote positive behaviors in the classroom and on the playground. Students are recognized whenever they are exhibiting positive behaviors by being given a PBIS ticket. Students then come to the Lynx Lair PBIS store where fun and engaging items and school supplies can be purchased using their PBIS tickets. Our students love the store and are always excited to come in and shop for all the fun items. The fidget keychains, bubbles, and coloring books will be a huge hit. This program has significantly increased positive behaviors on our campus and promoted more focus on positive student behaviors.
