We have built a wonderful science center in my kindergarten class. My students have a set of specimens to observe, magnets, color exploration, microscopes, mock telescopes, stethoscopes, etc. I have made it a personal goal to create a science center to pull all students' interest to it. I am still in need of some tools to improve our science center. This proposal is for those tools. I would like magnifying glasses, color discovery tools, rainstick project set, etc. The magnifying glasses would be wonderful to observe the before mentioned specimen and the fish in our aquarium. Color discover tools would be a fun way for the children to discover on their own how secondary colors are made. In addition to these, the rainsticks would be a fun addition to our lessons on the rainforest.
