My Project

Graphic novels are flying off of our library shelves. Our students can't get enough of them. They are working hard to reach their monthly and yearly reading goals. Our students also use reading to take a mental break and get away from the world for awhile. Our library only receives a small amount of money for books a year. Getting new graphic novels like the "Mr. Wolf's Class" series and "Stepping Stones," and other books that continue the series we already have. These graphic novels will help excite our students to read even more.

Graphic novels makes kids analyze pictures more, thus improving reading skills.

Our students have higher expectations in every subject. Getting these books will help my students reach their Acceleration Reader goals that are set each year school-wide. Reading more books has really helped our students in their reading fluency and reading skills. Thank you!
