New Graphic Novels for ESL Readers!

Help me give my students new and exciting graphic novels for independent reading!

My Project

Our high school ESL students are reading more than ever before! We read daily to hit our semester reading goals for independent language learning. Students this year are very interested in graphic novels because they provide the picture support for students to read higher level books that may be more grade/age appropriate. Students are reading about the adventures of Miles Morales or Anne of Green Gables when these stories were previously inaccessible because of the language demands of the traditional novels.

These graphic novels open a whole world of adventure and story that was previously out of reach for our ESL students starting in their language development journey.
